i think it is safe to say that spring has sprung here in Ottawa!!

and, with the arrival of this magnificent season and the end of one of the coldest winter's i've ever had to experience comes major changes to my blog.

actually it's mostly just the layout that has changed majorly.. and that i promise to post much more often than i have been.

i'm so excited for life right now. now that my heavy midterms are finally finished and most of the essays are finally written, all i can look forward to is the summer.. which is sure to be one of the greatest everrrrrrrrrr.

and somehow it has taken me about 30 hours to go from Phoenix to Ottawa
i'm beginning to hate all trains, planes, and automobiles.. especially when they've screwed me over like 2943580 times in the past 8 days.
BUT i'm in ottawa now.. thank god for that
it feels so good to be home!!!

now, off to sleep.. cause i don't even remember the last time i slept in a real bed and not a plane or train seat

I got my head checked, by a jumbo jet

so here's the current situation
i should be in arizona right now for a palma-caputo reading week vacation extravaganza. instead, it is 2:31 am and i am sitting in an EMPTY airport in lansing, michigan. first of all, who knew an airport existed in lansing, michigan? and second of all whyy on earth am i spending the night here?
well here's the story:
flight number 1- Toronto to Detroit was delayed by over an hour
flight number 2- Detroit to Phoenix COULD NOT WAIT FOR 9 PEOPLE FOR 15 MINUTES AND DECIDED TO LEAVE WITHOUT US.
apparently there are no other flights to pheonix
why would there be?
so, the 9 of us hopped in a cab and drove the 2 hours to the godforsaken place that is lansing, michigan.
we've currently overtaken the entire airport, sleeping anywhere we can find a comfortable chair. this is the third airport i've been in today
tomorrow, we'll be flying to minnesota, and then finally (dare i say it) PHEONIX!
so bottom line:
fuck you, delta airlines.

i just want to be suntanning, right now.

p.s. last night was just about one of the greatest nights ever

ahhhhhhhh i'm SO excited for this film to come out. not only is alice in wonderland one of the greatest stories in existence, but tim burton, johnny depp, and helena bonham carter are a completely unbeatable combination. i can't wait!
